Over Rs 22,000 cr sops to boost pharma, IT hardware manufacturing

The government on Wednesday widened the promotion scheme for boosting domestic manufacturing to more sectors, extending Rs 15,000 crore incentives for pharmaceuticals, and Rs 7,350 crore for electronics for production of laptops, tablets, PCs and servers in the country.
